Mrs. John Machledt, mother of Harry Machledt, who has been ill for over a year died at her home in Montezuma early on Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held at the Montezuma Presbyterian Church today with Rev. WS Smith in charge, assisted by Rev. AL Vermillion. Burial in Oakland Cemetery. She was the daughter of Joseph and Nancy Norris Little and was born Oct 16, 1866. She is survived by the husband and two sons, Harry of this place and Fred of Montezuma; 3 sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Reese and Mrs. Emma Swaim of Megarel, Texas; and Mrs. Frank Everett of Ft. Wayne; and by three grandsons, John, William and Paul Machledt. - kbz
